Dear Thai girl you're totally right. Your way to stay in front of them speaking and trying to explain is an amazing moral lesson for all of us. It shows in a very simple, genuine and clear way the beauty of your culture. Here in Italy we should learn from you. Dialogue, conprehension, respect, kindness are the only way to really meet people. Richness made us lose these values. I send you from italy a huge, warm, sincere hug for all thai people. You're amazing and in this situation you show it at all . I love your culture. 🙏🌈❤️😃
I really respect how Thailand handles situations like this. Disrespectful behavior should never be ignored, because once people realize there are no consequences, they keep pushing the boundaries. Over time, what was once unacceptable can become normalized.
As someone from Germany, I feel this is something we have struggled with for years. That’s one of the reasons I feel so safe and comfortable in Thailand. People here show respect for each other, and respect is expected in return, whether you’re a local or a visitor.
Being a guest in another country is a privilege. If you can’t respect the people, the culture, and the laws, you should accept the consequences. Thailand is setting a strong example.👏
