@lydmama: “Food court” chicken teriyaki and stir fry Had a craving- and thankfully I knew how to fix that 😛 here’s the recipe Teriyaki chicken- 2lbs chicken thighs, boneless/skinless Salt, pepper, garlic and onion powder or seasonings of choice Grill then cut into slices Sauce: combine in a bowl 1c soy sauce 2tsp garlic paste 2tsp ginger paste 1tbsp mirin Splash of shaoxing wine (optional) 1tsp dark soy sauce (optional) 2tsp sesame oil White pepper 1c brown sugar 2.5 tbsp corn starch Veggies: Any you’d like- I’m using Sliced/shredded cabbage, carrots, onions, green pepper and broccoli. Stir fry noodles: cook according to the package In a large skillet or wok, add some oil and cook the veggies down. In a separate skillet, add 3/4 of the sauce and whisk constantly until it heats and thickens. Take off the heat and toss the chicken in the sauce.
