For those not understanding, porcelain and clay sinks, especially farmhouse sinks, are heavy enough to strain and damage even the best constructed sink cabinets. Additional support is necessary when installing these sinks.

I sure hope they added some blocking under the cabinet floor when it was installed. Usually there would just be a piece of plywood and the only support would be in the frond and back (not the middle).

For those that don't know what it's for, my sister stuffs the entirety of the cabinet with cleaning supplies. Which often leads to a phone call to me about free labor to fix the pipes for 13th time. This protects a little😂👌

Actually, this is a good idea. It also prevents people from hitting your Plumbing like my Tenant constantly does and I have to go in there and fix it so this is a really good idea.

have had a double cast iron sink for 20 plus years an̈d hasn't moved at all. you just need to build the cabinets for the sink your using.
