How we bagged our exterior bricks 🔨 A much requested DIY walkthrough — showing the full process and products we used. Save this if you’re planning a DIY render — and check the caption for the full product list + extra tips 🤍 Shopping List PREP: Gerni or broom / wire brush Plastic drop sheets (windows) Heavy duty plastic drop sheet (ground) Gorilla tape Painter’s tape BAGGING: Davco render 3x buckets Drill Metal mixer attachment Trowel Paint scraper Ladders Sponge Protective gloves Scaffolding (for double storey) A few things we found really helpful: 1. Use three buckets — two for mixing and one for sponging. 2. Scrape the sides of your bucket between mixes to avoid dry lumps in the render. 3. Let the render dry properly before sponging — if it’s too wet, you’ll just move it around and lose that smooth finish. #DIY #exterior #homerenovation #bagging #renovation
