AJ is one of the greatest heavyweights as far as mental resolve goes. He got off the Canvas to finish WK late. We have also seen him. get stopped by Ruiz only for him to avenge that defeat 6 months later. No excuses. No suits allegations. Lost to Usyk twice, had a terrible crash out in the 2nd fight. He took responsibility for his Ls and made amends. Gets KOd by Du Bois. Gave full credit to Daniel and acknowledged that Du Bois was the better fighter. With this fight too, gets knockdown but again, not off the canvas to secure a K.O. Tyson Fury lost to Usyk TWICE but still protests the outcome. Wilder got spanked by Fury and TO THIS DAY, he still maintains that Fury cheated. Ngannou was talking about him being made to wait yada yada after AJ had folded him. These are facts. The one Heavyweight fighter who is yet to benefit from dodgy refereeing is also the most gracious in defeat. Fury benefited from favourable officiating against Otto Wallin and Nganou. Fury lost both those fights. Wallin cut him with a punch meaning it should have veen waved off but of course, the ref looked the other way. Wilder was very fortunate to get a draw against Fury because outside of the knock downs. Fury won each and every round of that. You will not find a single fight that resulted in AJ getting a favourable outcome. The obly dodge won was during the 2012 Olympics. He definitely got lucky in that fight. However, in the proffesional era? no favours. He gets it done.
