Looks good mate, couple tips: if you have a smaller broad knife preferably a 3” get thick line across the bottom of the blade and hold it almost flat to the wall and apply it with a slight flicking motion, your dobs only need to be about the size of a small lime and try space them roughly at 450 centres. Also, adhesive doesn’t stick very well to paint, so if there’s other painted walls make sure you scarify them or the boards will likely pop off - the ones you did should be ok you got lots of adhesive in the brick perps. For any stick-on’s, It’s a good idea to let all of your bottom sheets fully dry before putting the top on or you risk bowing and movement or completely falling off. It’s also a good idea to keep your bottom dobs pretty close to the ground around 30-50mm max from ffl, and space the bottom row of dobs all the way across around 50-100mm max apart, this gives you a solid base for fixing your skirts and a bit more rigidity along the base increasing the sheet bond and strength. Also if you can, leave the short overhang until the sheets completely dry so you don’t risk breaking the bond of the dobs, then just run your Standley blade knife up the back of the sheet tight against the door frame, snap it forward and run you blade up the face of the paper for a clean cut. Hope this helps 🤙🏻
