it doesnt exactly changes people in this case. Kanje was told that only the kichen would blow up, not the whole mansion. the guy told him that no one will be hurt, and that it is only done to make the hemlocks use their money.

just know, if ivory wasn't playing the piano she likely would've died with the others, zombie was finally starting to realize that he was in the wrong, the hemlocke siblings finally started to bond, if ivory didn't come sooner she would've been the only one left alongside kantje, vii had to watch all his older siblings and FATHER die in front of him, Pyro never got to properly grieve mysticat, the fact clown was probably in the boiler room he most likely would've died first unable to warn the others, reddoons is GOING to have survivors guilt after knowing the tragedy, ivory's was pyro's final MAID task while her final task was to save serapter and care for him, the only window that was broken was clown's office where serapter was in, which probably meant he broke it but tried to go back in and get the others but failed, and the final knife twist, if any of the maids and butlers had siblings or family they would never be able to see them again, not that they were ever able to due to the terrible work conditions zombie put the workers under.

He literally had no ill intend and only wanted to be able to pay for his fathers hospital bills. He literally said to zombie he would need more money to pay for his fathers hospital bills and zombie literally said it wasn’t his problem. If he was only paid enough and/or if zombie had given him a raise this wouldn’t have happened. Since he wouldn’t have had to make that quick money like this. Still I do get Ivory for not forgiving him, because in the end he did end up essentially killing everyone even if that was NEVER his intention. I just know Kantje will have IMENSE survivors guilt since with what he did he killed his friends, the people he spend time with daily and his kind of ‘found family’. There is just a lot more to Kantje than him just being ‘evil’, burning the house down on accident due to setting fire to the boiler and with that killing everyone. I literally love his character so much and just Kantje’s acting in general
