Meatball subs using boerewors: juicy meatballs, covered in marinara & smothered in cheese in a brioche roll! This is one of my favourite hacks to make meatballs without the hassle of mixing ingredients! It saves time and ingredients because you don’t have to add anything more, just the Legacy wors. Save this for those days when you just want something easy and tasty! Ingredients - @Freddy Hirsch Oom Freddy Legacy Boerewors - Onion - tomato paste - Canned tomatoes - Garlic - Basil, chopped - Legacy sprinkle - Salt and pepper to taste - Beef stock - Mozzarella 1. Squeeze out the wors and roll out the meatballs 2. Fry until browned and set aside 3. In the same pan, fry the onions, stir in the tomato paste and cook for a minute 4. Pour in the tomatoes and seasonings 5. Allow to simmer for 5 minutes 6. Add the stock and simmer for 20-30 minutes To assemble 1. Cut your rolls lengthwise 2. Add in some cheese, the meatballs, some sauce and top it off with cheese 3. Broil for 3-5 mins until cheese has melted #meatballs #meatballsub #mincerecipe #mince #groundbeef
