It’s got nothing to do with managers, Spurs just done back to back 17th place. No matter who was their manager this summer they were always going to spend big. United on the other hand are going with smart buys rather than throwing money at players. Same approach last summer that took us from 15th to 3rd so of course they were always going to do that again and that would’ve been the plan regardless who was the manager. The business both clubs are doing have very little to do with either manager
