bro those timber gum poles are still in contact with water, infact that motar you have put around the base will make the situation worse because it will transport water from the ground into the timber gum pole. The roof cover is just protecting the ramp walkway but not the columns that support it.

in school we learnt that you can soak the fresh poles in a drum of used engine oil. do oil, polyethylene and that method, it will rot when Uganda ceases to exist🤪

in which side should the length of poultry house,,should it be in East west direction or North south orientation,,give me some hint,, I recently constructed my poultry with length in East west orientation but the sun is entering in the poultry house directly so am fearing to even start up
