Why tf would either all embody or all emit that sin? That just makes for a bland group, since you know exactly what to expect from all 7 before meeting them, having variety is so much better and healthier for a story

I can't remember what story it was but there was one I read that did both. for example the gluttony demon consumed everything it could get its hands on but also just existing makes every living thing in the region have an insatiable hunger. there was an event where a city starved themselves because they ate through all their food stores.

What if they’re both? Lust is a hot person who wants to sleep with everyone and makes everyone want to sleep with them, Wrath is always angry but is always rage baiting as well, and gluttony is a 5 star chef who loves eating.

that why I like the seven deadly sins anime it gives more unique concept to the characters that represent the sins like for meliodas is wrath but isn't anger all the time but it festers before he lets someone have it, merlin is a very attractive woman who represents gluttony not lust she's not constantly eating she more absorbed by her own interest and hobbies failing to consider others opinions and emotions, gowther he is lust and is a androgenis doll who looks female or male hes like a robot he wants to have human emotions and uses hes powers to do so altering people state of mind or forcing their bodies to act without their consent

And don’t even get started on envy and greed because they’re basically the same fucking thing, they want what others have so either you have the make greed rich which just completely gets rid of their need to have more or a homeless guy who wants money but then they are just fucking envy and if you make envy a rich guy who wants more then they are just fucking greed and a riche guy who doesn’t want more doesn’t fit either sins 😭
