yes. people put on sunscreen and it gives them a false feeling of security which leads to them sitting in the sun more often. same as how people with protective gear during skating often times get more injuries. they take more risks

I use sunscreen every day because I’m ginger, freckly and pale as heck! I’m at a much higher risk of melanoma because of my complexion. Doesn’t mean sunscreen causes skin cancer. Jeez. Without sunscreen I wouldn’t be able to even go outside properly
