I swear no one checks on anyone anymore.. I always ask how my husband how hes doing and how his day was and he does the same for me but other than that, none of our friends do that. if I dont text someone first than I dont hear from them

it sucks that this feels validating to my gender, that feeling of "knowing" no one will reach out, even when I do say things that r toned down versions of how I am, that feeling of only having 1 person to talk to, but not wanting to burden them because of that. yeah i go to therapy, but untangling the survival mode thats slowly gripped more over time is such a mind f to figure out how to work thru with such little support

What’s crazy to me after going to therapy they have you do a timeline and you find out how absolutely alone you were the entire time and that every interaction was really just a transaction

I knew and still know I’m having active SI and most of the time my depression just overwhelms me and I needed space so I took it because I felt I was unheard and not loved the way I love.
