I was at a wedding with my then 6 year old daughter and I went into a bathroom stall while she sat in the lounge area. When I came out she was chatting with a trans acquaintance of mine from college and they were just complimenting each other's dresses, doing little twirls, and primping in the mirror. Only later did I reflect on how wildly normal it all was. Just two girls chatting in the ladies room. I genuinely think that if more people had proximity to openly trans individuals, it would change minds and hearts. Congratulations on your new addition ♥️

I hope that as more and more messages like this go out into the world, more and more people will see how incredibly normal this truly is. People have tried to create this alternate universe of what is happening with the Trans community, and this is just beautifully normal.

Congratulations! My grandson is one now and my trans son carried him. My grandson is happy, healthy and well cared for in an incredibly “normal” way. But also has a whole community of people who love and help which is exceptional in my opionion.

This is beautiful. Soak up this nesting phase, it goes by so fast. Before you know it, your wife will be in labor (easy as can be, I hope), and then you’ll all be home together, bonding in those precious, ordinary moments. The kind that once might have felt impossible are now just… normal. Just life. Just your family, expanding. That’s the quiet magic of it, isn’t it? The everyday-ness of it all. Diapers and 3 a.m. feedings and a bigger family than you had yesterday. Nothing extraordinary about it, and everything extraordinary about it, all at once. 💗💗 So happy for you all. 💗💗
