Holiday Fruit Loaf🎄 This is one of those recipes that has been in my family forever. My mom made it every holiday season, and it’s one of those things that instantly brings me back to our kitchen, loud, messy, and full of good smells! Some things change… but the recipes that work always stay… Just added a splash of @Bragg ACV and it turned out perfect! Ingredients: -2 1/2 cups mixed nuts and fruit (walnuts, almonds, raisins, cranberries, prunes, candied pineapple), chopped -2 cups all-purpose flour -2 tsp baking powder -1/2 tsp baking soda -1 1/2 tsp cinnamon -1/2 tsp nutmeg -Zest of 1 orange -3/4 cup vegetable oil -1/2 cup milk -1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract -1 tbsp apple cider vinegar -Juice of 1 orange -2 eggs -1 cup light brown sugar For the glaze -1 1/2 cups powdered sugar -1 tbsp apple cider vinegar -1 to 2 tbsp milk or cream (add as needed) Instructions 1.Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line a loaf pan with parchment paper. 2.In a bowl, combine the mixed nuts and fruit, flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and orange zest. Add the oil, milk, vanilla, apple cider vinegar, orange juice, eggs, and brown sugar. Mix until smooth and well combined. 3.Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 45–50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let cool completely. 4.For the glaze, whisk together all the ingredients, adding milk little by little until you reach your desired consistency. Pour over the loaf and top with extra nuts, if you like. .
