I have been looking into ibkr for years and attempted to fund twice but both times my bank (CIBC) stonewalled it and let me know I have to fill out forms from central bank because I’m attempting to invest overseas. I have contacted central bank for assistance with the right forms and what certain things mean on those forms. Because it was too confusing and too much back and forth I never got to fund my ibkr account. Is there somewhere to step by step walk me through what I need to handle Central Bank forms?

I recommend IBK, it is one of the easiest broker to use that the Bahama allowed, there fee is good, my experience was the wiring fee due to us using a intermediate bank to wire through
