I love Brannagh as an actor, but this iteration of Hercule has been let down by filmmakers insulting us as audiences. Poirot lets the little grey cells do the work. He abhors violence. So rather than have a very engaging, slow paced film, they panic and make him into Sherlock Holmes because they think we won't be able to watch someone who just talks and thinks. 🙄
