I'm 100% confused by this. If concent is a feeling someone has but can't express and behaves exactly like the opposite of what that feeling is telling them, or even are consciously unaware of that feeling... how's that even verifiable? It could apply not only to sex but to absolutely everything in every situation imaginable. How does it make sense when lot's off times you absolutely need to push over your feelings to get out of bed and be even funcional? We are all at some point acting against our feelings, we are not childs. We go to work against our feelings. What am I not understanding?

You're making many good points here. Some other men have made videos about how they talked about consent before taking any next steps woth a woman. Do you have any thoughts about this, for men who wish to avoid becoming a victim of lack of information and communication?

I grew up where my needs weren't that important so when I became a teen I didn't know how to advocate for my wishes let alone know what boundaries were. I'd get so pushed into stuff I didn't want because you'd be a pr**k tease or frigid and be publicly shamed for it. I think I've buried (or fermented) the pain. I still struggle with agency in general life but I had no idea the antidote could be power tools, no wonder I like them! thanks for raising this topic
