@thesunnahguy: One of the biggest lies we've been sold is that removing Allah from your life makes you free. Look around. We've never had more convenience. More entertainment. More technology. More comfort. Yet we've also never had more anxiety, loneliness and confusion. That's not a coincidence. When you remove something essential, you don't remove the need for it. You replace it. Remove remembrance of Allah... and you'll search for peace somewhere else. Remove marriage... and you'll search for intimacy somewhere else. Remove family... and you'll search for belonging somewhere else. Remove purpose... and you'll spend your life chasing distractions. The world didn't remove these things because we no longer needed them. It simply found new ways to sell them back to us. Only this time... They came with a monthly subscription. A price tag. Or an addiction. Allah never prohibited something without replacing it with something better. And this world has never replaced something from Allah with something that truly satisfies. The more I grow older, the more I realise... This deen wasn't sent to make life restrictive. It was sent to protect us from spending our lives chasing artificial versions of what Allah had already given us. Don't trade what is real... For something that only looks like it.
