They curve because it’s more efficient. The earth is roatating so that rotation helps the rocket get a little bit of a boost. And no the rocket dosent blow up, it’s called an exauhst plume that happens when the rocket reaches a low pressure environment. Basically rockets propell themselves with high pressures gas which when it hits a low pressure environment, it rapidly goes outward. And it literally switches to CGI because the signal is shit.
