In today's world people are so doubtful of their religion. Quran did not come in urdu it came in Arabic so first of all the translation cannot be exact. Secondly let's suppose someone is reading tarjuma without a ustad and they read that men will be given hoors in jannat, but nothing of women is mentioned there. The people will quickly judge Quran on this negatively. But when they have a udtaad who has read all tarjuma mufasireens ahadith tabaein and etc he can justify explain and tell the context of the ayat. Our ulmas never said to just not read quran. These aalims are one of the people who have biggest madaris and teach million of people quran daily.
