Their signature ability, Ruse (E), allows Clove to place smoke clouds that block enemy vision. Unlike other Controllers, Clove can still deploy these smokes for a short time after being eliminated, allowing them to continue supporting their team even after death. Clove’s Meddle (Q) throws an explosive orb that bursts after a short delay, applying the Decay effect to enemies caught in its radius. Decay temporarily reduces an enemy’s health, making them easier for Clove or their teammates to eliminate. Pick-Me-Up (C) activates after Clove earns a kill or assist, granting temporary health and a movement speed boost. This ability rewards aggressive plays by helping Clove reposition quickly or survive additional fights. Clove’s ultimate ability, Not Dead Yet (X), is one of the most unique abilities in VALORANT. After being eliminated, Clove can activate their ultimate to temporarily revive themselves and return to the battle. To remain alive, they must secure a kill or assist within a short time limit; otherwise, they are eliminated again.
