People who say France must have never traveled to many countries in their lives, or they’ve only been to Paris and the most touristy places in the world. Because honestly, France wouldn’t be the first country that comes to mind when talking about unfriendly people. French people are actually very nice. Of course, if you go to Paris in the middle of tourist season, you’re probably not going to meet the best side of people but that’s true pretty much everywhere in the world. I also think French people suffer a bit from their honesty and straightforwardness. What some people perceive as being rude or unfriendly is often just the French way of being direct and saying exactly what they think.
