Men being providers in the biggest lie ever told. Any generosity they show comes with more strings than it’s worth. I was the woman semi-supporting a man, we lived separately. I made 3x more than him, he couldn’t afford to do the things I wanted to do, so I paid. But he wouldn’t get the Uber, he never even offered. He was SHOCKED when his lease was up and I didn’t want him to move into the home I owned with me. He kept saying, but I want to marry you. And I kept saying, I know you do, but I don’t want to marry you. He was again shocked when we broke up.
