I went through this after having my first at age 20. I’m 34 now with a 13 month old and an almost 14 year old and god am I so glad I stopped conforming to what I thought I SHOULD be and went back to myself. 😌

I found my style in the middle of a severe depression episode, and it’s actually more than one style, depending on my mood and such. It ranges from cottagecore/fairy core to full punk, and a few others in the middle like Y2K lol 😅 People never know what to expect when they know I'm coming. I could either be a fantasy princess or an emo kid, and anything in between.

I was alternative af before having kids and I changed (briefly) because 1. I was too fat to fit into any of my old alt clothes and 2. I thought I’d be shamed for it. I’ve since bought a bunch of alt clothes in my new size and I’m feeling more like myself everyday 🥹🥹
