@dr.benaduce_explains: I do not teach my students to memorize muscles as random names, origins, insertions, actions, and innervations. 🧠💪 I teach them to look at the muscle and ask: 📍 Where is it? 🔗 What does it attach to? ↔️ In which direction does it pull? 💡 Why does that create this movement? ⚡ Which nerve controls it? 🩺 And what would happen if that muscle or nerve were injured? Because when you understand the story of the muscle, you do not have to fight so hard to remember every separate detail. The location helps explain the attachments. The attachments help explain the direction of pull. The direction of pull helps explain the action. And the action helps you understand the clinical consequences. ✨ That is how the puzzle pieces begin to connect. 🧩❤️ The goal is not only for you to memorize muscles for your next exam. It is for you to look at a muscle and think: “Ahhh… of course it does that.
