@steel.man.debates: 🚨 Sam Harris on why the NYT boosting @hasanabi should alarm Democrats: "He's basically our Nick Fuentes. That exaggerates it by 10%, but totally irredeemable character... He's on record saying that America deserved 9-11. He supports Hamas. He supports Hezbollah. He supports the Houthis... Just remember what the New York Times has done. They gave him a very favorable style section profile. They gave him his own op-ed. Ezra Klein idiotically embraced him in an op-ed titled Hassan Piker is not the enemy." — @Sam Harris , neuroscientist and host of Making Sense podcast #samharris #hasanpiker #newyorktimes
Listening to an atheist use “moral” language as if anyone should be bound by morality if God is a fiction is entertaining to say the least.

Wasn’t Hasan recently on a New York Times podcast advocating for theft?

a flat circle :
Hassan is indeed obnoxious and insufferable, I’m not sure I think he’s comparable to Fuentes, but he’s absolutely a sort of narcissist who seems more interested in self gain than community. Sam is right, it’s not necessarily the sign of a collective and unite change for the left but just further fragmentation and polarization.

It’s hard to believe you can’t find something on Piker that would take him off the main stage.

Two things are true. Piker is not worth signal blasting. And it’s not the end of the world if they do. Not in this environment.
