God cannot be in fellowship with sin. When Jesus states, the quote in question, it's when the sins of the world are upon Jesus on the Cross, not separating from the Trinity.

I appreciate your insight on the quoting of Psalm 22. I have not heard that practice by the Rabbis before, but that makes great sense. I just read Ps 22 and I see how that fits! That's a Messianic Psalm. Great insight! Thank you!

If Jesus is the sacrificial lamb, and in the Old Testament the lamb was sacrificed for sins it was clearly not guilty of, it makes logical sense that Jesus was sacrificed for sins He was not guilty of. He took the sins upon himself not as his own sins - it was the blood that was payment. It was always the blood. Jesus never had to experience the separation and spiritual death of sin for His blood to still be sufficient as payment. Pure, innocent blood.

Think about how incredible this is: God humbled Himself enough to obey the laws given through Moses. Not because Moses was above God, and certainly not because God was subject to the authority of a man, but because “the Word was God” and “the Word was made flesh” (John 1:1, 14). At the transfiguration, Moses himself stood there, yet the Father pointed to Jesus and said, “This is my beloved Son… hear ye him” (Matthew 17:5). Do not exalt the servant above the Son, or the Sabbath above its Lord. If God humbled Himself to fulfill what was given through Moses, we can humble ourselves enough to hear and obey Jesus. He was made sin, died our spiritual death, was separated from the Father in the pit of hades then born again and raised so we could follow suit. Had Jesus not..we could not.

the Bible actually States he who knew no sin became sin exact words as far as I know therefore the father cannot dwell in darkness because he is light the light and in that time the land became darkness so I'm part of the committee that believes that for that moment the father did turn away so he can focus on us and not the son it's not that he betrayed Jesus but he had to put his focus on the surroundings of the people in the world I do respect your point of view though
