I van vouch for the ticket validation, in some countries you need to do this. I did in Austria, but it sucks to have to remember🫠

Advice for Prague from a local: just download the Lítačka app and buy tickets through it. Just activate it, and that's it. I've never had a problem with paper ticket validation, but Lítačka is the safest option in my opinion. Also, there are calmer and still nice places in Czechia other than just Prague. I hope you visit again!
