I was at the lowest of my lows… post partum literally almost killed me… where it got to the point for months at least 6 times a day or more I would say “I don’t want to be alive anymore” “Why am I putting myself through this.” Or “I just want to d!e” Now I’m not saying I’m completely healed… but I will say I can’t remember the last time I thought or had said any of that.. My mom took her own life, 7 months before I got pregnant. This pregnancy and postpartum was the hardest thing I had to ever do… But I chose to stay so my son never feels the pain and heartache I felt.. I’m not sharing for sympathy, and this isn’t a cry for help. This is just me being honest about a chapter in my life, and being vulnerable helps me connect closer to you. I don’t have it all figured out and I’m still healing, but sharing my story feels more genuine than pretending everything has always been okay. 💗 Sincerely, Skiley the girl behind the chair
