Does this work for active spider mite infestation? I seen a similar recipe for spider mites. New to this but I used 90% rubbing alcohol (more of it), dawn (was told it needs to be dawn) and water. The plant is a diffenbachia.

perfect timing 😭 I just made your original mixture yesterday. I haven't had any bad reactions or burning on my plants from the more concentrated version. Have you found that this less concentrated version is just as effective at preventing/treating pests? Im still traumatized by my last spider mite infestation

I couldn't get peppermint soap and I ended up making low dose peppermint tea(from my garden) instead of water, do you think that would be worth the effort?

I really wish I had seen this 2 hours ago after I mixed up my neem oil, soap, alcohol AND peroxide 😭 I didn’t know the peroxide and alcohol can’t mix

You know what? I wondered about the mixture the other day and I put the original recipe into AI (Claude) and it said the ingredients weren’t the best and shot out exactly what you’ve changed it to here! Incredible. Thanks for updating and sharing!

Yeah I do this and add neem oil to it as well, but I do wipe it off. I wipe the leaves and the stems with the mix I use. I let the ceiling fan dry it a bit before I put it back under my lights.
