@its.anya.lacey: The second I end up somewhere I don’t know anyone, my phone instantly becomes my best friend. I wish I could just sit there looking calm, confident, and approachable, but instead I have no idea what to do with my hands. Scrolling through my phone somehow feels way less awkward than just staring into the distance pretending I’m completely comfortable. Maybe it’s an introvert thing, or maybe everyone else is secretly doing the exact same thing.
