@emiliamariehome: Planet inspired macarons for episode 4 of Made with Whimsy! 🪐✨ If you’ve been following along with the prep for my bakery at home event, The Baker’s Library, you got a preview of these in Part 2, but I wanted to take a bit more time for them. Painting macarons has become one of my favorite ways to decorate them, and it’s so much easier than it might look!! All you need is a bowl of vodka or clear alcohol-based extract, like almond, pastry paint brushes, and gel food coloring. You’ll dip your brush in the vodka before dipping in the food coloring and then you’ll brush on / continue like you would watercolors! You need to give them some time to dry before serving, but macarons are better served after maturing in the fridge anyways!
