Look where DMG is holding the staff it’s much closer to the balance point, while everyone else is gripping it near the top. That gives DMG much better leverage and makes the staff easier to control.

How do you even get that past prop check? One of the conventions I go to doesn’t allow heavy props

I love how it's been manhandled so many times by this point that the paint is flaking not just on the bottom but on the parts where people grab it and have to fight gravity to hold on 😂

Ok so what I've learned from watching SO MANY of these is: don't grab it with your arm outstretched, and place your hand lower on the staff... Also it helps to have a bit of arm strength 😅🤣
