@iovechoo: There are moments when I watch old videos of Tunisia from the 1970s, the 1980s, the 1990s, and even the years before 2011, and I can hardly believe it’s the same country. The streets looked peaceful, families enjoyed public spaces, tourists filled our cities, and there was a feeling of pride in the beauty of Tunisia. It reminds me that our country has always had incredible potential. Today, it hurts to see what Tunisia is going through. Many people are struggling with extreme heat waves, power cuts, water shortages, wildfires, and growing frustration about everyday life. You can feel the exhaustion and anger that many people carry. It is heartbreaking because this is not the future that Tunisia deserves. What makes me the saddest is knowing how much potential we still have. We have beautiful beaches, ancient history, breathtaking landscapes, talented young people, and a strategic location. Tunisia could be so much more. We have everything needed to build a country that people are proud to live in and proud to visit. But change cannot depend only on governments and leaders. Leadership matters, of course, but a country is also shaped by its people. We all have a responsibility for the place we call home. When we throw rubbish in the streets, damage public property, ignore the environment, or stop caring about our communities, we slowly damage our own country. Respect for public spaces, kindness towards one another, and a sense of responsibility are just as important as political change. There are also many Tunisians who work hard every day to improve their communities, help their neighbours, clean public spaces, teach young people, and build a better future. Their efforts deserve to be recognised because they show that change is possible. I am not posting this video to say that the past was perfect. Every period in history had its own problems and challenges. I am posting it because it reminds us of what Tunisia is capable of being. It reminds us that our country can be clean, welcoming, vibrant, and full of hope again. I love Tunisia, and that is exactly why seeing it struggle hurts so much. I refuse to believe that this is the best we can be. I still believe in the people who care, in the young generation that wants something better, and in the possibility of rebuilding a country that lives up to its incredible potential. I hope that, one day, when people look back at this difficult period, they will see it as the moment Tunisia decided to rise again, not because of one person, one government, or one decision, but because an entire nation chose to care about its future. #creatorsearchinsights #stegtunisie #tunisia #fyp #tunisia🇹🇳

Although I wasn't born in that era, it feels like paradise on Earth. The cleanliness, the safety, the immaculate beauty... Everything seems holy and sacred to me. I'm literally crying here.

Post revolution Tunisia is heartbreaking. All the hope during and after the revolution but now.. 💔 Such a beautiful country with amazing history being destroyed by greedy power hungry politicians.
