this seems like a pretty terminally online take tbh, it’s not true at all, i was a full black panther/black liberation supporter before i found out blk ppl get sun burns.. we have to acknowledge that you can’t expect ppl to know everything abt ppl they didn’t grow up around and that they may hold on to relatively harmless beliefs (like blk ppl not getting tans) due to their upbringing, it has nothing to do with “not viewing blk ppl as humans”.. its ok to not know or understand something, its only a problem when you aren’t willing to learn
