Your degree is valuable, but don't underestimate the power of having a skill you can use to create opportunities for yourself. 4. Stop comparing your timeline to everyone else's. Someone else's success at 25 doesn't mean you're behind at 27. Your journey is still yours. 5. Pay attention to who you become around the people you love. The right relationships should not require you to constantly abandon yourself to keep them. 6. Take your health seriously while you're still young. Sleep, movement, nutrition, and taking care of your body are investments not things to worry about later. 7. Learn how to be alone. If you're terrified of being alone, you may end up accepting relationships and situations that aren't good for you. 8. Stop consuming and start creating. It's easy to spend years watching other people build their lives while yours stays the same. Learn, but also create, build, and take action. 9. Don't ignore the things you know you need to change. The longer you avoid uncomfortable truths, the more expensive they become in time, relationships, money, and opportunities. 10. You don't need to have your entire life figured out. But you do need to start taking responsibility for where you're going. Your 20s don't have to be perfect. You will make mistakes, change your mind, lose people, and start over. But don't spend so much time being afraid of getting it wrong that you forget to actually live, learn, and build.
