You need to be checked again. The Seroma may need aspiration.

I didn’t have a nephrectomy, but I have had a Whipple surgery, had the head of my pancreas removed, 2 ft of my small intestines removed, my biliary system removed and my liver re-routed. I only tell you this cuz I get the feeling of exhaustion from abdominal chronic pain. I have had chronic pain from surgical adhesions ever since my surgery. They say that it can be from parts of the bowel can get trapped from the adhesions. The mesentery (that holds up the organs in the abdomen) is cut during surgery. When it heals it can cause scar tissue. I suspect maybe there was some other cutting that could cause adhesions with you. It can be excruciating and take your breath away. There really is no solution for adhesions. 🥹 I am very blessed to be given a prescription for low dose oxy when the pain gets bad. Hopefully they can give you something that will give you some relief. My heart goes out to you. 🥰

The seroma may have become infected. I would get it checked out just to be safe! So sorry you’re hurting. Hope it feels better soon!

the hoop most likely exacerbated the pain. if no fever, chills, etc... probably not an infected seroma. definitely get checked. at least you'll have peace of mind.

Seroma may have grown or is infected. Regardless you should get it checked because it’s so important to protect what kidney you have left. You don’t want to cause more damage.

My brother had his kidney removed and didn’t experience pain after the initial pain. Pain is telling you to go to the hospital or dr.

You may need seroma drained or like my husband who gave me a kidney, may have a hernia. Try a belly wrap or back support. May ease pain.
