Gotta be quiet on the creek but former employee here; make the membership on the app, rack up your points don’t spend them if it’s small and you don’t really need to, always ask if you have points at the till (if they’re having a bad sales day they won’t remind you that you have them), there’s ALWAYS a discount running in the app (e.g 25% off when you spend £35 etc and you can scan this in store or use online) if you see white ticket/paper behind a product’s shelf label then a discount is coming the next day - potentially even later that day, online price and in store price aren’t always the same - if online is cheaper they can price match it for you in store but only if you ASK, similarly if something is buy 1 get 1 free online you can match that in store! Black Friday sale goes beyond 50% off, Boxing Day and Christmas period are good too, check the store stock on the app first if you have something specific you want, if there are random packets on the bar behind the till it’s probably free samples and you should ask incase they’ve forgotten to hand them out. And they operate as a “the customer is always right” company so if something is misplaced on the shelf where a different product label is cheaper there’s a chance you can get it for that price instead since it’s their mistake not yours - that’s more if the label is somewhat similar and you’re willing to be confrontational about it tho. My stepmother used to work there and honeslty, the amount of training all the staff have to go through to do with health, wellness, science, ingredients etc is really impressive. The company itself treats its staff very well.

Also if you see something is cheaper on the app than in the store, they do price matching! It has saved me a lot of money when I went to the store and checked the price on the app before going to the checkout!
