Romans 10:17 says: “𝘍𝘢𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘴 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘮𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘢𝘨𝘦, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘮𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘢𝘨𝘦 𝘪𝘴 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘥 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘊𝘩𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘵.” Minsan, nangyayari talaga 'to— sa totoo lang, madalas pala, pero bihirang pinapansin. 😬 Tipong 'pag tayo ang assigned na tatayo sa harapan, sobrang focused natin. We prepare the line-ups. We practice the harmonies. We check the timing. We pray before worship. We ask God to move. Pero pagkatapos ng last song… madalas biglang deretso backstage na. Kuha ng gamit. Kwento sa likod. Cellphone. Tawanan. Tambay. Pahinga. ..... 𝘸𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘞𝘰𝘳𝘥 𝘪𝘴 𝘣𝘦𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘥. And sometimes, without realizing it, yung worship natin, tila nagiging performance nalang sa stage instead of something we continue to live even after the music stops. And if we’re not careful, ministry can slowly turn into routine instead of 𝘥𝘦𝘷𝘰𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯. Delikado tayo doon, spiritually. Because worship does not end after the last song. Real worship continues when the lights are dim already. When nobody sees you anymore. When the instruments are down and the preaching starts. Remember this, Kapatid: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻. 𝗜𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝗹𝘀𝗼 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲. Minsan kasi, serving becomes an excuse para hindi na tayo mag-stay as listeners too... But Mary sat at the feet of Jesus, remember? She listened. She remained. And Jesus called that the “better part.” Kaya importanteng tanungin natin sarili natin: “𝘿𝙤 𝙄 𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙝𝙪𝙣𝙜𝙚𝙧 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙙 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙣 𝙬𝙝𝙚𝙣 𝙄'𝙢 𝙙𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜?” Because it’s possible to always hold the microphone/instrumenrs… while slowly starving spiritually. And this is not just about physically staying inside the sanctuary. Tungkol ito sa posture natin. Discipline. Honor. Hunger for God. Kasi if we only love being used by God publicly, but do not love sitting under His Word privately, may mali na sa puso natin. Worship team tayo, yes. But before musicians, singers, instrumentalists, or creatives— we are 𝘥𝘪𝘴𝘤𝘪𝘱𝘭𝘦𝘴 first. We are worshippers first. Romans 10:17 says: “Faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ.” Meaning: Even those serving still need feeding. Still need correction. Still need growth. No one graduates from needing the Word of God. And honestly, minsan kaya mabilis ma-burn out ang ibang servants because they keep pouring out publicly without allowing God to pour back into them privately. (𝘈𝘭𝘢𝘮 𝘬𝘰 𝘱𝘰, 𝘥𝘢𝘩𝘪𝘭 𝘢𝘬𝘰 𝘮𝘪𝘴𝘮𝘰, 𝘯𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘢𝘴𝘢𝘯 𝘪𝘵𝘰🙏) We minister. But we forget to 𝘳𝘦𝘮𝘢𝘪𝘯. John 15 says: “𝘼𝙗𝙞𝙙𝙚 𝙞𝙣 𝙈𝙚.” Not just serve Me. Not just sing for Me. Abide in Me. So maybe this is a gentle reminder for worship teams, creatives, and servants in ministry: 𝗔𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽, 𝗱𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝗶𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆. Stay teachable. Stay hungry. Stay planted in the Word. Because the same God you worship on stage… is still speaking when the preaching begins. 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗰𝗸 𝗯𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗰𝗸. 🤗 — God bless, everyone! 🤍✝️ 05.12.26 𝐀𝐥𝐥 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞, 𝒍𝒚 #christiantiktok #inspirational #messageforyou #jesuslovesyou #fyp
