If you aren’t getting paid then tell the mother you aren’t babysitting anymore. You just don’t leave babies alone. There is no excuse she can give. Unless a physical adult was there in person you don’t leave. She could had waited for the mom to come home for lunch and then left since she comes home every day for lunch

my old neighbor had a autistic son and hired a babysitter. we were in a duplex and shared a wall. that baby sitter walked out the front door and i was outside and called the cops saying that she is leaving and someone needs to come watch him bc hes bad and she cant handle it. I called my neighbor and she left work and came home. I stayed with him but the babysitter was literally gone by the time my neighbor got home. insane 😭
