ok but what if they then said that all characters played by billie piper were in fact the doctor, going back to heal himself after the timewar? i would hate it if they did, but it is plausible. they could use the excuse of the pocketwatch from family of blood, meaning that billie would be human (plothole coverup 1) and that explains why rose understood the doctor so deeply, because she was him. she would be even more of a paradox than she was before. it would also be a nice ending for badwolf as it ties up a paradox with a paradox. and it cleans up the whole mess of reusing faces. problem solved. badly, but solved. but then rose×10 would be gross

I have a terrible silly theory that the regeneration to ncuti was actually not a real regen because of how it happened and tennent is actually the doctor but ncuti is a living embodiment of his memories and thats why he’s turned into Rose and we could end up seeing more faces returning through the memory body

After thinking this through, I don’t think Billie piper is anyone. I think RTD knew this was his last series, and book ended it, so the first of his series ended with rose, glowing in the TARDIS doorway, so made sense to end the reboot he started with the same image
