I have the same issue and ended up buying the same thing from Amazon. But i left it on because it protects the ring when I’m working out and doesn’t scrap against the metal bars

My jeweler at Tiffany’s said I need to size down with any engagement ring. I’m typically a size 5, he said I need a size 4.5 because the band shouldn’t spin or slide.
