Please check out part 1 before commenting about missing duos! Percy and Luke had so much potential. Luke taught Percy how to fight and live at camp, and he was essentially his first real friend. Luke and Annabeth were sadly ruined when rick made Annabeth fall in love with him. As for Percy and Hazel, I feel like they deserved so much more time together in Heroes of Olympus — such a missed chance. Then there's Thalia and Luke. If you read the Demigod Diaries, you’d know how well they complemented each other. They didn’t even need to talk; just a glance was enough. Their love was so clear, and it’s heartbreaking. Thalia and Percy have this sibling-like bond. They bicker and annoy each other, but their love is evident. They’d definitely die for one another. Jason and Thalia’s relationship is just gut-wrenching to think about! She has to witness her brother die, basically, twice — it’s too much. Nico and Hazel are so sweet, and we get to see their relationship grow. Hazel starts off insecure, feeling like she’s just a replacement for Bianca, while Nico struggles with having a sister again. By the end of Heroes of Olympus, they’re so natural together and fit perfectly into their sibling-like relationship. Meg and Lester are icons! They’re hilarious and truly represent the essence of found family. Percy and Grover share a bond that goes deeper than demigod stuff. They were friends long before Percy knew he was a demigod, which makes their friendship so simple yet profound. Finally, Percy and Annabeth may be a romantic couple now, but let’s remember they were friends for five books before becoming a couple! They were the ultimate duo at Camp Half-Blood; even when not romantically involved, they worked so well together, and being in a relationship just made them even better.
