@haliejohnson16: Step one toward financial freedom is getting a little uncomfortable. 🤍 Today, that meant selling my $52K car. Temporary sacrifice for a long-term goal: becoming debt-free. One step closer. #debtfree #financialfreedom #sahm #wfhm #intentionalliving
Ugh I wanna get a newer car so bad we only have beaters we bought for 1000$ but this reminds me we don’t need that car payment 😭

Our cars are paid off (2019 Toyota RAV4 and a 2018 Chevy Malibu) and we’re keeping them til the wheels come off 😂

I LOVE my Honda pilot but it’s 50k & I regret it because I’d rather have that money to do other things with family and not be car trapped 😥

Girl, I just sold my Sequoia to Carvana in May and got rid of that 4 fig monthly payment. I have not purchased another vehicle and have no intentions. Saved a car payment, insurance & gas. (We are a multiple car family- so this isn’t feasible for everyone). But get out from under it if you can.

I have a question. I’m thinking about doing this! I still have a lot to pay on my car, as I just bought it last year in January. How does this work if you still have a lot to pay off on the loan?

We never buy new. A few years old takes half the value off.

step 1 : buy a new car that's way over my budget
step 2 : realize I made a mistake
step 3 : trade it in after it depreciates 25%
step 4: make a tiktok to embarrass myself further

I’m about to do this , I got my car when I had a full income and now just had a baby and a new house and let me just say it’s been humbling. So how do I sell my car back to the dealership ? I’ve been paying on it for 2 1/2 years
