I would add the Cherry Picker. People that are in social media (TikTok being a big one of them) and ONLY show wins. Or they show unverified Blossom accounts with made-up numbers and completely unrealistic distributions like $1mil accounts with 5 stocks for example. Or they will show the stock de jour being discussed for the day and have a graph behind them they claim to “own” but you will never see a P&L or the cost basis. They only ever show green days in their portfolio; even on days where it’s obvious with their holdings on a red day that they also should be having one. They go out and buy a bunch of 0.000268 shares of highly volatile stocks and wait for big gains to show a large percentage gain on one position but you will never be shown how much equity that percentage actually is actually valued as. Videos they made get deleted when they are wrong next week or next month. And you will never be given as actual justification, math, or analytics of why they recommend any position outside of broad vague “I like it” or “it looks good” because they didn’t do any actual analysis outside of looking at graphs and line go up and line go down. They are even worse than “signal sharks” because at least they have done some surface level methodology even if it’s just testing levels of support. Basically anybody that treats the stock market like it’s Kalshi and only focuses on day trading and “buy low sell high” Wolf of Wall Street fanfic. Over 90% of “day traders” lose; and that’s why serious investors don’t talk about it on here.
