Never really understood that in the books...since Agamemnon wasn't a real historical person and apparently the Dune books takes place like 20,000 years after our modern time.

Which is interesting because Agamemnon’s line died out shortly after him, if I remember right. His grandson Tisamenus was his last descendent. Of course it’s all fiction so I guess it doesn’t really matter
