This is Lang2x. ❤️🐾 Lang2x is only 2 ½ years old — still so young, with so much life ahead of him. He is a fun-loving, sweet, and curious cat. He loves to wander around, explore, and enjoy his surroundings. He is the kind of cat who wants to be part of everything happening around him. But since June 26, everything changed. Because of his condition, Lang2x has been staying inside his cage. The cat who used to freely wander around and enjoy life now spends most of his days resting and trying to recover. Lang2x is now fighting a very serious battle. He has been diagnosed with FIV, FeLV, and FPV. He also has a mass on his back, and he is currently suffering from a serious lung problem with fluid buildup and/or thick mucus or phlegm affecting his breathing. His body has also become weaker. From weighing more than 3 kg before, Lang2x is now only 2.4 kg. Seeing him lose so much weight has been heartbreaking, but he continues to fight. We are not rich. I am just a simple pet owner doing everything I can within my capacity to save him. I have been trying my best, stretching every resource I have, because Lang2x is not just a pet to me. He is family. For weeks, I have been taking him to the vet, trying every treatment I could afford — medicines, nebulization, oxygen therapy, and supportive care. I have used my savings, borrowed money, and pushed myself beyond my limits because I do not want to lose him without trying. The hardest part is seeing him struggle, while knowing that deep inside, he is still fighting. Whenever his medicine starts working and he can breathe better, Lang2x becomes the cat I know. He eats. He becomes very affectionate. He watches his fellow cats. He wants to come out of his cage and walk around again. Those moments remind me that he still wants to live. My vet told me that his condition is very serious. Euthanasia was even mentioned because they do not want him to suffer. Hearing those words broke my heart. But deep inside, I really do not want to give up yet. I want to seek a second opinion and explore every possible option for Lang2x. My vet also mentioned another clinic that may be able to help by further checking his lungs and possibly addressing the fluid buildup or thick mucus/phlegm affecting his breathing, or doing other procedures that might give him relief. I also want to know if confinement is needed and what treatment would give him the best chance. The only thing stopping me now is that I no longer have enough funds to pursue these options. Lang2x is still so young. He still has so much love to give. I do not know what the future holds, but I know he deserves a chance. So today, with a heavy heart, I am asking for help. Any amount of help for Lang2x’s veterinary care, possible procedures, confinement, oxygen therapy, medicines, and continued treatment would mean the world to us.
