@flokate: We’ve learned the hard way with this one, we’ve got some fabulous tradespeople who we use time and time again, but we didn’t have a plasterer. A huge thing for me when looking for tradespeople is reliability and communication, and both of those things have fallen short with this one at the moment. :( I’m actually quite upset about it but what can you do. We’ve arranged a new person to finish the work so the only thing left now is to get our money back but I highly doubt that’ll happen, it’s so frustrating too as the work they completed was to a good standard! I’m trying not to jump to conclusions as you never know, they may have an emergency in their life, so for us we’re just moving on and letting it go. I tried my hand and a bit of pointing and it’s way harder than it looks, but that might be because the stone cladding is so deep and of course by nature it’s irregular. 💀💀 Despite the drama, I can really feel this coming together now!
