@gossifytv: Hannah Khahugani Inyama was arrested after the decomposing body of her 13-year-old son, Emmanuel Solomon Inyama, was discovered wrapped in blankets inside their apartment in South B, Nairobi. Hannah Khahugani Inyama worked as a nursing lecturer at the University of Nairobi’s School of Nursing Sciences. She specialized in critical care nursing, post-resuscitation care, neonatal intensive care, midwifery, and obstetric nursing. Her research covered topics such as HIV outcomes among pregnant women at Pumwani Maternity Hospital and factors affecting antiretroviral therapy adherence. She was known among colleagues as a dedicated educator in healthcare training. Her son, Emmanuel Solomon Inyama, was a 13-year-old student at a private school in Nairobi preparing for his KCPE examinations. The two lived together in Kifaru Apartments, South B Estate. The horror came to light on October 24, 2019. Neighbors reported a strong foul smell coming from the apartment. Caretaker Stephen Mwangi looked through a window and saw what appeared to be a body wrapped in blankets. He immediately alerted the police. Officers led by Philip Ndolo forced entry into the sixth-floor apartment and found Emmanuel's decomposing body wrapped in blankets in the living room. Hannah was inside the apartment and hid in the kitchen when the officers entered. Hannah told police that her son had fallen and died in the house. She said she did not take him to hospital because she did not believe in hospitals. She had reportedly kept the body in the apartment for one to two weeks. During that time, she invited church members to sing and pray over it, believing Emmanuel would come back to life. She was reportedly found praying and chanting, insisting that her son was under spiritual attack rather than dead. Some people claimed Hannah had come under the influence of a group that rejected modern medicine in favor of faith healing and prayer. Church members were reportedly seen visiting the apartment regularly to pray. Others suggested that financial difficulties or personal stress may have contributed to a mental health crisis. Neighbors and relatives said Hannah had become increasingly withdrawn before the body was discovered and had shown signs of depression and isolation. Hannah was arrested and taken to Makadara Police Station for questioning. No one disputed that Emmanuel had been dead for days, or possibly weeks, before his body was discovered. The exact cause of his death was never established. The pathologist found ulceration in the boy's stomach, suggesting he may have been experiencing prolonged stress. No other significant injuries or abnormalities were noted. A psychiatric evaluation later found Hannah unfit to stand trial. An investigating officer told Makadara Chief Magistrate Heston Nyaga that medical reports showed she was not fit to plead because of her mental state. She was placed on daily medication and released into the care of her parents on the condition that she report to police every week. The case was mentioned in court in late November 2019, and she did not face a full murder trial. Hannah has remained out of the public eye since then. #searchcreatorinsights #fyp #kid #viral
